Fenestral uses multi-point locking mechanisms on all opening frames. (Theylock each sash at multiple points). These specific mechanisms are from Roto Germany.

What the Roto multi-point mechanisms we use offer

• Three (3) Locking Pin Variations

The Roto mechanism is available with three types of locking pins with different technical characteristics that best meet even the highest security requirements of a frame, while ensuring its perfect operation.

• Electrolytic zinc coating combined with a nanostructured surface that is unaffected by normal weather conditions.

• Security Design

The Roto mechanism provides a high level of security even in its basic version, with the security pin on the sill through which the tilt function is also performed. Excellent anti-burglary results are achieved by exemplary combinations for security windows according to the new standard DIN V ENV 1627–1630. This standard refers to a comprehensive inspection of all individual components of a window.

• Design of Locking Pins / Keepers

All keepers in the Roto range have the same size and axial screw position.

This fact, combined with the prior use of components with security closing pins on the sash, allows us to easily upgrade the security level of frames even retrospectively by using security keepers (zinc or steel). All locking pin variations can be combined with all keepers.

• Covers – Mechanism Caps

Upon request, covers from Roto’s extensive range can be fitted to all visible mechanism components. A wide variety of color options are available for this purpose.
