Fenestral installs security pins (roller shutter security bolts) in the bottom sills of roller shutters to prevent them from being lifted from the outside when lowered. There is also the option of using reinforced Security pins – security bolts for roller shutters, in combination with roller shutter guides with iron plates, for greater anti-theft protection.
The security bolts for roller shutters prevent the roller shutters from being opened from the outside, while controlled torque motors protect the electric motors of the roller shutters from damage (burning out) if they encounter an obstacle during ascent or descent.
The pins should always be accompanied by controlled torque – obstacle detection motors, because otherwise there is a high risk of damaging the electric roller shutters if you try to open them with the roller shutter pins – bolts secured.
