ESS 47 Hybrid

The ESS 47 HYBRID series of aluminum sliding frames is an evolution of an older series, the Prima 8000 thermal break (Europa 8000 aluminum windows), with the addition of several elements – profiles that enhance the quality characteristics of the frames. The ESS-47 Europa system features narrow profiles (hooks) for the construction of overlapping sliding and double-leaf recessed sliding systems, offering a larger glass surface and wider outward opening (LESS FRAME – MINIMAL FRAME WINDOWS). New profiles include low tracks, 34 cm, as well as the ability to construct sliding systems with fixed sections.
A significant advantage of the ESS-47 energy-efficient sliding frames is the ability to construct sound-insulating frames, as they allow for the installation of a wide range of sound-acoustic glazing, which is prohibitive for traditional sliding frames.
The series is available in two construction versions. With a conventional sliding mechanism, standard rollers and system sealing with brushes, and with a lift-and-slide mechanism. In the latter, the sash lifts and slides on the stainless steel track with enhanced system sealing using gaskets. The maximum construction weight per sash is 200 kg. The ESS-47 HYBRID was designed to harmoniously integrate with the casement system “PRIMA 8500” and E-60, and holds certifications for typologies from the Notified Laboratories IFT ROSENHEIM and EKANAL.
The ESS-47 EUROPA accepts the “HAUTAU” Atrium Alu-Hs 200 mechanism with the option of dual selection using the same system profiles.
The manufacturer of Europa aluminum frames can initially choose standard rollers (with 25 kg/roller) and install brushes on the sash, or the lift-and-slide mechanism (for a maximum weight of 250 kg) and install gaskets on the sash for better sealing. The rollers slide on the stainless steel sheet of the track, allowing for straight, smooth, and easy movement of the sashes. With the above dual option, we can meet every requirement from conventional construction to lift-and-slide, always offering the ideal solution to the end consumer.

Advantages

- High sound insulation due to the possibility of installing sound-acoustic glazing.
- Smooth sliding with the use of stainless steel sheet or the option of installing a lift-and-slide mechanism.
- Installation of a multi-point locking mechanism.
- High watertightness due to the use of EPDM rubber or foam sealing blocks for the tracks in overlapping and recessed frames, with two levels of water drainage for improved track drainage for sliding systems.
- Possibility of installing narrow profiles (hooks) for the construction of overlapping sliding and double-leaf recessed sliding systems, offering a larger glass surface and wider outward opening (LESS FRAME – MINIMAL FRAME WINDOWS).
