To increase the insulation of recessed sliding frames, Fenestral places the sealing corner around the perimeter of the frame, meaning both at the top and on the side where the frame’s locks are located. In this way, we increase the insulation of sliding frames. This is because we add extra brushes that press against the glass pane, which would not otherwise exist. Additionally, we improve the aesthetics (curved or straight sealing corners) and achieve uniformity, especially in the case of colored frames, as we cover the entire masonry with them.

By using perimeter architraves on the exterior of the frame, its security is also improved, as it becomes more difficult to access the locks and frame sashes in the event of a break-in (using crowbars, screwdrivers, etc.). All major brands (e.g., Europa, Alumil) feature perimeter sealing corners in their exhibits. They are available in curved and rectangular cross-sections to suit any taste.
See the difference they offer in the article on perimeter sealing of sliding frames.
