EFD 77 Hybrid

The Europa EFD 77 is a folding aluminum system designed for spaces where openness, comfort, and adaptability are key requirements. The system’s philosophy focuses on stable operation and ease of use, even in large-scale constructions. The Europa EFD 77 folding doors stand out for their high thermal insulation coefficient (Uf= 1.8 w/m²k), the ability to construct very large sashes of 1200mm x 3500mm with a maximum weight of 120 kg, but primarily for their very high sound insulation coefficient (RW 47 dB), which makes them ideal for shops and dining areas (please refer to the sound insulation legislation).

The EFD 77 Hybrid sashes move on the bottom track, ensuring smooth sliding and a sense of control during use. The system supports any combination of odd and even sashes, and can be designed to open either inwards or outwards, depending on the space’s needs. For demanding high-rise applications, a reinforcing profile is provided to enhance the overall robustness of the construction.

The Europa 77 offers the possibility of corner applications, expanding architectural choices. Concurrently, the use of EPDM gaskets, 32mm polyamides in the sash, and additional internal insulation in the profiles contributes to improved thermal insulation performance. The system accommodates double or triple glazing with thicknesses from 18 to 48mm, covering different levels of energy requirements.

Thanks to the combination of these features, the system is suitable for both residences and dining areas, where the immediate connection between indoor and outdoor spaces is desired.
