Traditional Frames

Fenestral can manufacture traditional aluminum frames, with traditional paneled shutters and divisions, as well as aluminum frames that resemble wood. Traditional windows and balcony doors can be energy-efficient – thermally broken. For optimal energy performance in any conditions (mountain, sea, etc.). Curved divisions are used for a faithful reproduction of old wooden frames (aluminum frames that resemble wood). Traditional frames can also be installed on islands (island traditional frames) using ultra-durable paints, specially designed for coastal areas, which have 60% greater durability than ordinary paints. For these specific traditional windows, a special treatment is applied to the profile cuts, with special insulating materials, to prevent corrosion (filiform corrosion). The same applies to frames in mountainous areas (frames for mountains) where ultra-durable aluminum paints are used to prevent discoloration and hail damage. For mountain frames, special series of Europa energy-efficient aluminum frames are used (e.g., EOS – 78), with increased thermal transmittance – thermal insulation indices. Fenestral traditional windows are the ideal solution for aluminum frames in stone houses.

At Fenestral, we can also manufacture traditional shutters – or simply French shutters. These specific traditional shutters are fitted with horizontal divisions – T-bars that perfectly mimic old wooden frames; see traditional shutters with and without panels.
