Replacement of old frames with new soundproof energy-efficient Europa aluminum frames in the center of Athens. The windows for the Airbnb are from the Europa 5500 series. The frame series was chosen due to its sound insulation capability and its resistance to heavy loads.
Soundproof aluminum frames for Airbnb have been fitted with soundproof energy-efficient glazing of cross-section (Low-e glass 8+8mm Triplex with two acoustic membranes / 16 mm gap with Argon gas / 6+6mm. Triplex with two acoustic membranes) (see more about soundproof glazing) with glass sound insulation of 55 dB. The weight of the glazing is 135 kg/m2, which is why special mechanisms from Roto have been installed. All frames feature handles with keys.
Soundproof aluminum frames are designed to add sound insulation and sound protection in noisy areas, such as the center of Athens (Bars, music, busy streets).
The windows for Airbnb are in RAL 7032 color and were manufactured in collaboration with the architects from Parallax Office Of Architecture.
