Double sealing of glass panes to prevent condensation

In all energy-efficient glass panes that we install in Fenestral’s aluminum frames, double sealing is applied, with Butyl and polysulfide, for better performance in temperature changes (cold – heat) and to prevent moisture between the double glazing (glass panes that take in air).

Specifically, the double bonding – sealing of energy-efficient glass panes (hot and cold) offers significantly better performance in temperature changes (both cold and hot) because in the summer months one tightens and the other softens, while in the winter months the opposite occurs.

silica gel in glass panes

Plastic spacers (glass pane shimming) are installed in all glass panes. In all double energy-efficient glass panes, silica gel is placed inside the spacer (bar) to prevent moisture. A 5-year warranty is included for the above glass panes.
