Heavy-duty roller shutter slats constitute a large category of roller shutters, comprising dozens of slats that vary depending on weight, shape, size, price, and the maximum width they can be manufactured to.

For example, the heavy-duty slat with code name TV 9240 (Europa roller shutters) has a specific shape (oval), weight (254g/m), size (9.2mm x 45.8mm), and can be manufactured as single roller shutters with a maximum width of 3 meters. Similarly, the TV 962002 slat has completely different characteristics and properties. Therefore, in every frame quotation you receive, you should be aware of which heavy-duty slats are being offered to you, in order to compare and evaluate them (see exactly what should be stated in aluminum frame quotations).

*Empirically, we should mention that roller shutter slats with polyurethane filling should ideally not exceed 1.6 – 1.7 meters in single constructions (without divisions – guides in the middle).
